The deal, in plain words.
No fine-print traps. Here's what using Sigyl means during early access.
Last updated: this is a pre-launch draft — review with counsel before going live.
1. Using Sigyl
By creating a Sigyl identity you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. Early access
Sigyl is in early access. It's invite-only and capped at 5,000 members at launch. Features may change, break, or be removed while we build.
3. Your key is your responsibility
Your identity is a key held on your device. We can't see it and can't reset it. If you lose your device and also lose your Recovery Kit and your guardians can't help, your account cannot be recovered. Keep your Recovery Kit safe.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use Sigyl for anything illegal, abusive, or harmful to others.
- Don't attempt to attack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service to harm it or its members.
- Respect other people. Vouched networks work because members act in good faith.
5. No warranty
During early access the service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Sigyl isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of an early-access service.
7. Changes
We may update these terms or the service. We'll post material changes here with a new date.
